ENERGY STAR is a voluntary program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency that promotes energy efficiency in a wide range of consumer products and building systems. Products that earn the ENERGY STAR label are independently certified to meet strict standards for energy efficiency. They deliver cost-saving energy efficiency solutions that protect the climate, improve air quality, and protect public health.
ENERGY STAR partners – including many state and local governments and energy utilities – often provide tax exemptions, credits and rebates for use of ENERGY STAR certified luminaires, including specific products from Focal Point.
Our ENERGY STAR certified downlights have been evaluated for compliance with the ENERGY STAR Downlights Version 1.0 standard applicable as of January 1, 2025.
