The Eskenazi Health Thomas & Arlene Grande Campus opened in 2024 as a state-of-the-art health center on Indianapolis’ East 38th Street. The facility was tailored to meet the needs of its surrounding neighborhoods. Beyond providing accessible healthcare, the campus serves as a community hub with amenities like a café, teaching kitchen, multipurpose spaces, and a technology hub. Outdoor spaces include walking trails, plazas, and a connection to IndyGo’s Purple Line, further integrating the center into the community.
Apollo 8 LED Ambient + Exam + Reading luminaires were recessed above patient beds, supporting both patient comfort and physician tasks. This fixture meets IES standards for healthcare lighting while offering features like an exam light with asymmetric optics and an angled reading light for optimal illumination with a smooth, easy-to-clean acrylic lens that ensures contamination prevention and simplifies maintenance. In addition, a Seem 1 Indirect Wall Mount fixture was positioned near a door to deliver soft, indirect light, enhancing visibility and providing a cohesive design element within the healthcare environment.
