RSM’s new San Diego offices draw from the company’s values of inclusion and diversity, local culture, and its location near the coastline. The integration of daylight throughout the space, also allowing for ocean views, was a guiding principle in the office’s design, reflected in the open plan and usage of glass partitions. 

The connection to the outside views is reinforced through the incorporation of directional patterns of Seem 2 Recessed luminaires. Seem 2 Perimeter also provides an appealing glow that brings out the texture of the distressed wood, another connection to the shore, also reflected in the color scheme of earth-tone browns and sky blues. 

This project has been awarded Honorable Mention for lighting design from the District of Columbia Chapter of the Illuminating Engineering Society.
