HGA’s Milwaukee office, located in the historic Marine Terminal building, underwent a lighting refresh in 2024 to enhance team collaboration spaces. With limited ceiling height, the design team sought an innovative solution to improve task lighting without additional ceiling-mounted fixtures, while preserving the aesthetic of the space.
Strategically placed alongside tall collaborative tables, Tazo Single, Sans-Serif in matte white blends seamlessly with the furniture while providing balanced, glare-free illumination. Its louvers deliver comfortable task lighting, while indirect batwing illumination fills dark spots between ceiling clouds, ensuring a well-lit and visually cohesive workspace. Beyond lighting, Tazo enhances functionality with integrated USB-A, USB-C, and 120V power ports, allowing for on-the-sport device charging while reducing clutter. Its portable, reconfigurable design adapts to evolving workspace needs, making it an ideal solution for dynamic team environments.
By improving lighting conditions, integrating power access, and preserving the office’s architectural integrity, Tazo proved to be an aesthetic and adaptable lighting solution that enhances collaboration spaces without disruption.
