Experiencing rapid growth and with aspirations to crack the Fortune 500 list, Green Plains, Inc. selected a 53,000 square-foot site to house their headquarters. Some of the design goals for the space were to emphasize the exposed structure, to promote collaboration and to maximize visual comfort in multi-use spaces while energizing the occupants. To achieve them, Nera, with its unobtrusive design and center void, was installed on the trading floor, maximizing sight lines onto the architecture, while recessed linear luminaires support various tasks and complement the modern aesthetic of the private offices and conference rooms. The award-winning design encourages collaboration and provides energizing illumination.
